Desk 01

Comfortably poised, Desk 01 is characterised by its calm and approachable appearance.

A generous 40mm solid oak top offers a reassuringly supportive working surface suitable for a range of activities, from light computer-based work through to more demanding hands-on tasks.

Round wedged tenons - a feature visible from the top surface - demonstrate the traditional joinery and craftsmanship invested throughout the design.

Comprised of only softened rectangles and cylinders, the desk maintains an easygoing and uncomplicated form. By using these two basic shapes at varying sizes, Desk 01 conveys a gentle demeanour and will happily integrate into a wide range of interior styles.

The open shelf extends from front to back, offering the flexibility for left or right-handed positioning.

This product is made to order, please allow 8-12 weeks lead time.

Cleaning instructions

The design is finished in premium spill and stain-resistant oil and can be wiped clean with a cloth and warm water.

Material sourcing

As always, responsible material sourcing is key to my working practice; the wood used to make this piece comes from a tree grown local to my workshop and felled as part of a native woodland regeneration project.
