I designed the Lounge Table as a “happy everywhere” coffee table — the sort of piece that settles into a room without fuss, but still earns its place. It has chunky legs and a slim top: a simple design with a welcoming character. It’s built from locally grown Scottish oak.
The table uses traditional wedged-tenon joinery - it provides structural integrity and an honest character. I created it for an exhibition, and it’s now part of my core collection — a piece I often recommend because it fits effortlessly into a wide range of interior styles without ever fading into the background.
From a poetic perspective, I think this design is a good metaphor for how I work with my clients: friendly, versatile, and naturally at home in their projects.
As with all collaborative projects, technical drawings and 3D models are available for you to include in presentations for your client.
